 ENGLISH

A real crowd pleaser is Step Addition by Sebastien Galtier, a virtuoso duet he created a few years ago when he was still dancing with the Stuttgarter Ballett. The Frenchman set his dance to music by fellow countryman René Aubry, who smuggled snippets of baroque music into his composition.

Such baroque fragments were not enough for Cristiano Principiato, who in his Purcell Suite responds to Henry Purcell's music with chandeliers, seventeenth-century costumes and pigtail wigs. '

The loudly acclaimed piece can go straight into the repertoire of the Junior Company, where Principiato began his HNB career just three years ago.
