ECLIPSE is a neoclassical duet choreographed for the annual International Dance Day Gala on the main stage of Estonian National Ballet.
It was also performed at the Open Air 22-23 Season Opening Gala of Estonian National Ballet.
The duet abstractly represents two people falling in love with one another, while painfully knowing that life circumstances will soon force them to part.
It explores both the sweetness of attraction and the bitterness of not being able to purse it.
Just like the sun and the moon overlap for only a few minutes during a solar eclipse, the couple can only meet for few prescious moments and decides to make the most out of them.
