ECLIPSE is a neoclassical duet choreographed for the annual International Dance Day Gala on the main stage of Estonian National Ballet.

This piece was later performed at the Open Air 22-23 Season Opening Gala of Estonian National Ballet and also at Gala d’Estrellas 2025 (organised by the charity Nido Para Angeles on the stage of Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo).

The duet abstractly represents two people falling in love with one another, while painfully knowing that life circumstances will soon force them to part.

It explores both the sweetness of attraction and the bitterness of not being able to purse it.

Just like the sun and the moon overlap for only a few minutes during a solar eclipse, the couple can only meet for few prescious moments  and tries to make the most out of them.
